fQ. WHAT IS LASH LAMINATION?
A. Lash lamination is a treatment based procedure that curls the lash with a delicate perm solution, brings an intense drama to the lashes with tint (normally done in black) and nourishes and thickens the hair with keratin and peptides that enhance the structure of the lashes.
Q. HOW LONG DOES THE LAHS LAMINATION PROCEDURE TAKE?
A. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes from start to finish.
Q. WHAT IS LASH TINT?
A. The lash tint gives your lashes a long-lasting intense dramatic effect without the hassle of smudging, running, or clumping lashes. A lash tint is also great for those who have naturally light colored (blonde, gray, light brown) lashes.
Q. CAN I GET LASH LIFT OR LASH TINT? DO I HAVE TO GET BOTH AT THE SAME TIME?
A. When performing a lash lamination treatment a tint is included in the treatment as it enhances the look and fill of the lashes.
Q. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN EYELASH EXTENSION AND EYELASH LIFT?
A. The processes are quite different. We will not be adding additional lashes or harmful adhesives to your eyelashes. You don't have to worry about getting refills when the extensions start to fall out. You can also still use mascara for even more volume or length. If you're looking for some definition without the commitment to continually update your extensions, a lash lift is the perfect solution.
Q. HOW LONG WILL THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT LAST?
A. A lash lift typically lasts 4-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 1 month (4 weeks) if you feel the need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state which is typically 4-8 weeks.
Q.WHO WOULD BE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR THE ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT?
A. The Elleebana Lash Lift is for clients that are pleased with the length of their natural lashes but want a semi-permanent curled, enhanced mascara look. It is not recommended for chemotherapy clients.
Q. WILL IT DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
A.No, a trained Lash Lift specialist will perform the procedure with proper care and technique.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I AVOID AFTER MY ELLEEBANA LASH LIFT?
A. Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas; overall, refrain from all heat. After 24 hours, you may go about with your daily routine. The Elleebana Lash Lift has no restrictions or maintenance like eyelash extensions.
Q. IS THE LASH LIFT IS SAME AS LASH PERM?
A. No. The Lash lift is a new, improved procedure, overcoming the ‘over curled’ look of its predecessor . Whilst the chemical procedure is identical to a perm, the difference is in the results. By ditching the old fashioned perm rollers which curledback the lashes to the extent of the ‘dolly look’, the silicone pads used for thisnew procedure lifts the lash from the root in either a straight or curled, upwards fashion that produces length and a bright eyed enhanced look. This is not the typical lash perm you may have heard about in the 80s! Historically, lash perms used tiny curlers on your lashes along with a strong solution. The lash lift has come a long way since then; each lash is lifted one-by-one at the root, which allows them to look longer and, well, lifted!
