SAUNA
Feel relaxed
Heat therapy has long been used in medicine to relax muscles and dilate (open up) blood vessels for better blood flow. Within just a few minutes of the soothing heat that comes from our far-infrared sauna systems, you may experience a relaxing of knotted muscles and your body will begin to circulate blood better. Improved circulation of your blood may deliver more oxygen to your brain which in turn will leave you feeling rejuvenated and restored both in body and mind! Infrared heat also may help with the release of endorphins- the natural “feel good” chemical in your body.
Additionally, for those who are unable to exercise adequately, for whatever reason, the radiant heat from an infrared sauna is an excellent way to get the benefits of exercise without undue stress on your skeleton, muscles, and associated tissues. Overall, using an infrared sauna for relaxation may significantly reduce your stress levels by improving your blood circulation, releasing muscle tension and helps with the release of endorphins.

Tips For The Best Sauna Experience
1. BEFORE ENTERING THE SAUNA.
Stretching wakes up and your body, gets your blood pumping, and increases your flexibility, and these preparations will ensure that your mind, body, and health will see the greatest results after your infrared sauna session..
2. HYDRATE YOUR BODY
They say you should drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day, and they’re not wrong! Keeping your body hydrated guarantees that you’ll have the stamina to enjoy an entire session of healthy heat in an infrared sauna.
3. FIND THE RIGHT SETTINGS.
Not everyone has the same body, so not everyone should have the same settings when it comes to their infrared sauna experience. If you’re looking to truly relax, then you may want to adjust the chromotherapy lighting to our cool blue, turn the heat to a lower temperature, and play some calming tunes. But, if you’re someone who wants to use the infrared sauna to feel energized, then perhaps a radiant orange, higher temperature, and an inspiring music selection is the way to go. If this is your first sauna session, you may want to begin at a lower temperature of 100 degrees F and slowly work up to a full 140 degrees.
4. LENGTH OF TIME
For beginners You may want to start with 10-15 minutes of heat and only use chromotherapy the remaining 15 minutes of your session. And work up to 30 mins. You don’t want to overdo it and become dehydrated.
5. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BENCH.
Our infrared saunas come equipped with a comfortable bench that’s stationed at just the right height, so use it! The bench gives you somewhere to put your feet up to relax, sit calmly if you want to meditate, or provides an area for you to do that stretching we talked about earlier.
6. CLOTHING
Due to regulations and for sanitary purposes, clothing is required in the sauna. Most people will wear a bathing suit or under garments.
7. WHAT CAN YOU DO IN THE SAUNA
Read, listen to a podcast/music/video (on your device, over Bluetooth or via aux port), meditate, chat with friends. Just don’t fall asleep.
8. WHAT DO YOU DO AFTER YOUR SAUNA SESSION IS OVER?
Cool off, shower, relax. Drink 8-16oz of water.
9. HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU VISIT THE SAUNA?
3-4 times per week.

What you should know before trying an infrared sauna for the first time.
There are a few things you should know before trying out far infrared sauna.
- Avoid using an infrared sauna if you’ve been drinking alcohol.
- If you feel ill or have a fever, it’s best to wait to use the sauna until you’re feeling better.
- Using an infrared sauna will cause you to sweat a lot, so you may feel lightheaded when you stand up. If this happens, make sure you get up slowly and sit down once you leave the sauna. Drink water immediately after finishing your session and wait for your body to cool down before doing anything else.
- In extreme cases, some people may experience overheating (heat stroke and heat exhaustion) or dehydration.
